Follow the pattern to cut the hearts: 2 Outside, 1 Lining, 1 Back, and 1 Insulated batted (cut down the center). 2. Use the Bias Tape maker and fold each 10” long binding in on both sides until the final width is ½”. 3. Set sewing machine up with matching thread in the top and bobbin with universal needle and standard presser foot. 4. Fold loop in half lengthwise right sides together and sew ¼” seam allowance. Turn the loop right side out with the EZ Point & Turner. Press with the seam on the side. Edge stitch on each long side as desired. 5. Set the sewing machine up with the walking foot, quilting bar, and quilting needle. Place the Back right side up over the 12” x 10” Insulated batting with the silver side facing up. Hold layers together with SewTites or Wonder clips and quilt on a 45 degree angle. Use the Quilting bar to mark 1” and use it as a guide for quilting straight rows. Quilt in the opposite direction creating a cross hatched effect. Baste around the outside at ⅛”. 6. Fold and press the Front (2) hearts in half on the center of the Heart. Place one half of the “heart” batting in between each of the Front Hearts with the Silver side facing up. Hold together with SewTites or Wonder Clips. Baste around the outside at ⅛” to secure each Front to the Batting Heart. Quilt on the diagonal through all the layers just like the back. 7. Wrap binding around each of the Front hearts, hold together with Wonder Clips and stitch through all layers. Trim the extra at the top and bottom. Press. 8. Place the two half heart fronts right side up over the Lining and use Wonder Clips to hold together. Baste around the outside ⅛”. 9. Fold the Loop in half and place the two raw edges along the upper left side of the heart, secure stitch in place. 10. Place the Back right sides together with the Front and sew with a ½” seam allowance around the outside of the heart leaving a 3” opening to turn. 11. Use EZ Point & Turner to turn the right side out. Use the pointy end of the EZ Point & Turner to smooth out the curves and get nice crisp heart points. Tuck opening inside and press. Secure with Wonder Clips and top stitch ¼” around the outside of the pot holder.
